Steam Training / Activities

FUNDESTEAM has a complete educational ecosystem that goes from school to pre-university training. Thanks to our programs we align ourselves with the United Nations SDGs and offer innovative opportunities to our participants to acquire the skills necessary to face the challenges of the 21st century.

The FUNDESTEAM Corner Clubhouse is a free space aimed at young people between 12 and 18 years old in the Curundu area in vulnerable situations. Workshops are offered in Robotics, Computer Maintenance and Repair, Programming, and Video Game Creation and Editing.

This program is carried out in alliance with Senacyt, an organization that since 2016 has been carrying out the “Clubhouse Corners Network” Project through the opening of access centers based on STEAM education known as Clubhouse Corners. The FUNDESTEAM Clubhouse Corner operates on Av. Juan Pablo II, Calle Club Ecuestre in the STEAM House (No. 007), Corregimiento de Ancón, Panama City.

All workshops are free and are aimed at young people between 12 and 18 years of age, in the Curundu area, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the mornings and/or afternoons.

Hello everyone! My name is Veraly and I would like to share my experience at the FUNDESTEAM Clubhouse Corner.

I found out about the FUNDESTEAM Corner thanks to a poster on social media; together with my friends we were looking for a programming workshop. We were eager to learn about programming and there was an advert on social networks about a Python course. We all loved the opportunity they were giving us. In these workshops we met wonderful people and learned in a dynamic, exciting and fun way. Since I started going to the workshops at the Corner, it felt like a safe place. A place to laugh, make mistakes, learn and have fun together with my colleagues and the amazing team at the FUNDESTEAM Clubhouse Corner. I am grateful for the opportunity that these types of workshops give us young people to develop skills and knowledge.
