he STEAM Genius Scholarship program seeks to encourage Panamanian teams that stand out in the National Robot Olympiad, allowing them to continue their higher education at prestigious universities that offer academic programs linked to technology and innovation.
This program emerged as an initiative to support IPT Capira students who stood out in the National Robot Olympiad in 2022. Thanks to the contribution of the Exsusa group, it was possible to obtain the necessary funding to offer 21 full scholarships to the graduates who won first places or were finalists in the competition. These scholarships will allow them to study at partner universities that have the best Robotics and Technology Laboratories in Central America and the Caribbean.
The Exsusa group will provide 20 half scholarships, IFARHU will provide 20 half scholarships and the Deveaux Foundation will provide 1 full scholarship, each for 4 years.
With this we see the added value of the robotics tournaments materializing, providing an additional incentive that will promote the study of careers related to STEAM.
